Dr Tan Chai Beng is a neurologist currently practising at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore. Dr Tan’s clinical interests include epilepsy, epileptic seizures, fainting, migraines, movement disorders, neurological disorders, neuromuscular disorders and stroke.
Prior to practising privately, Dr Tan was awarded the HMDP Fellowship by the Ministry of Health, Singapore, to be part of the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory in Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr Tan was the former chairman of the National Committee on Neurosciences and the former president of the Clinical Neuroscience Society. He was also the former Vice President of the ASEAN Neurological Association. His other memberships include the Civil Aviation Medical Board, Editorial Board of the ASEAN Neurological Journal, the Ministry of Health’s National Committee on Neuroscience, the Academy of Medicine’s Neurology Specialty Review Committee, and the Ministry of Health Neuroscience Task Force.
