Dr John Ng is a neurologist practising at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital, Singapore.
His specialty is in general neurology, with special interests in stroke, epilepsy and headaches.
Dr Ng started his career at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH) in 2004, and later went on to work at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH), where he served for more than 10 years.
He was the department lead for the planning and implementation of the transition care programme for epilepsy patients transferring from KKH to SGH.
Prior to beginning his private practice, he was a consultant at the National Neuroscience Institute (SGH Campus), the centre that provides the management and care of neurological diseases in Singapore.
From 2014 – 2018, Dr Ng was a clinical lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University Singapore.
Dr Ng also held positions as the physician faculty member of the SingHealth Neurology Residency Programme, internal medicine faculty mentor at the SingHealth Internal Medicine Residency Programme, and adjunct instructor at the DUKE-NUS Medical School in Singapore.
