Dr Andrew Clayton Lee is a general surgeon and oncoplastic breast surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
Dr Lee specialises in performing oncoplastic breast surgical procedures to treat screen-detected benign and malignant breast conditions.
He was trained in breast cancer research at the National Medical Laser Centre and Institute of Nuclear Medicine at University College London, UK.
He received his specialist training in general surgery in UK and subspecialty training in breast surgery at the Edinburgh Breast Unit.
In 2008, Dr Lee held the position of a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon at Ninewells Hospital and Medical School in Dundee, UK. In 2014, he relocated to Singapore and was appointed consultant breast surgeon at Changi General Hospital.
Since becoming a consultant surgeon in 2008, Dr Lee has also been active in furthering his academic interests beyond clinical medicine. He completed his Master of Science in Health Systems and Public Policy at the University of Edinburgh in 2011 and Postgraduate Certificate in Healthcare Commissioning at the University of Birmingham in 2014.
To further his interests in personalised medicine, Dr Lee completed the taught component of his Master of Science in Cancer and Molecular Pathology and Genomics at the Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London.
