Dr Gordon Lim is an obstetrician & gynaecologist at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
His key interests are in advanced antenatal care and minimal invasive laparoscopic laser surgery.
He has more than 35 years of experience as an OBGYN.
Prior to joining private practice, he worked at KK Women's and Children's Hospital.
He graduated from Middlesex Hospital Medical School, London. He returned to Singapore as a medical officer in the Singapore Armed Forces. Dr Lim subsequently qualified as an OBGYN from the Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists, UK. He is a fellow of the Royal College Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK.
He is among the earliest obstetricians to introduce routine ultrasound scanning in Singapore. He was also among the earliest to use 3D and 4D scanning machines when they became available. When minimal invasive or keyhole surgery was first used in gynaecology, Dr Lim was also among the earliest to introduce this procedure for the treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, infertility, among others, in Singapore.
Dr Lim is an author of numerous papers and a book called Nine Months and Counting.
