Dr Shaun Loh is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeon at Gleneagles Hospital, Singapore.
He is experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of ENT conditions and provides comprehensive care for all ENT disorders, including hearing loss, nasal blockages and sinus issues as well as throat conditions.
Dr Loh has a special interest in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA). He is well-equipped to offer the full range of treatments from conservative management with continuous positive airway pressure therapy and oral appliances to advanced therapies like robotic surgery and hypoglossal nerve neurostimulator implants for sleep apnoea. With his experience, he is a consulting surgeon appointed by the Inspire Medical Systems, training other ENT specialists in Singapore and the region.
Before entering private practice, Dr Loh served as a consultant and chief of sleep surgery in the department of otorhinolaryngology at Singapore General Hospital (SGH). He was also a consultant at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Sleep Centre. He continues to be a visiting consultant at SGH, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Sengkang General Hospital and Woodlands Hospital, offering his expertise and experience in OSA treatment.
He graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and did his master’s degree there. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK and a fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Besides his clinical work, he served as a clinical assistant professor at Duke-NUS Medical School and Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine.
In recognition of his patient care over the years, Dr Loh is a recipient of multiple Service with a Heart awards and the Singapore Health Quality Service awards.
