Dr Jeanette Tan is a paediatrician at Parkway East Hospital, Singapore.
She specialises in general paediatrics, which includes newborn and well-baby screening, childhood immunisation, growth, nutrition and developmental assessment of children, and management of common childhood diseases.
She was a consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital’s (KKH) department of pediatric medicine.
Dr Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore. She then obtained her postgraduate qualification with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK. She went on to attain accreditation as a specialist in paediatric medicine and was subsequently conferred fellowship by the Academy of Medicine. She trained in paediatrics in the department of paediatric medicine, accident and emergency and neonatology at KKH as well as in the department of neonatology at Singapore General Hospital.
Besides clinical work, Dr Tan was a teaching faculty at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. In addition, she was a core faculty member of the SingHealth post-graduate Year 1 programme. She has presented at several local seminars/lectures.
Dr Tan is a recipient of KKH’s 10-year Long Service Award and the Singapore Health Quality Service Award.
