Dr Jenny Tang obtained her MBBS from the National University of Singapore in 1991. She subsequently obtained her Master of Medicine in Paediatrics in 1995 and membership to the Royal College of Physicians (UK) in 1996. Dr Tang completed her advanced specialist training in Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and the Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio in the United States. She has also been conferred as Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK), American College of Chest Physicians (USA), Asia Pacific Society of Respirology and the Academy of Medicine Singapore, and is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Dr Tang is currently Medical Director at SBCC Asthma Lung Sleep and Allergy Centre in Gleneagles Hospital. Prior to joining SBCC, Dr Tang held the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Paediatric Medicine, Head and Senior Consultant of the Respiratory Medicine Service and Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Centre, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She was also Adjunct Associate Professor of Duke NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore and Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, NUS. She has received many awards such as Service from the Heart awards, National Day Commendation Award, Young Investigator awards and the HMDP Fellowship for Paediatric Pulmonology and Sleep. Dr Tang was also active in research and has published in the areas of Paediatric asthma, lung, sleep and allergy.
