Dr Benjamin Tow is an orthopaedic and spine surgeon practising at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
He specialises in treating degenerative conditions of the spine, deformity surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery, as well as percutaneous injections for spine conditions.
Apart from spine surgery, Dr Tow has extensive experience in managing general orthopaedic conditions of the knee, hip, ankle and upper limb. He is also well-versed with paediatric orthopaedic conditions, having received training at the Kandang Kerbau (KK) Women's and Children's Hospital.
Dr Tow graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1998. He subsequently obtained his Master of Medicine (Orthopaedics) at NUS and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Orthopaedics), United Kingdom.
Dr Tow completed his fellowship at the UCLA Comprehensive Spine Centre, Los Angeles, USA, where he was mentored by Professor Jeffrey Wang and Dr Larry Khoo.
Upon return from his overseas attachment in 2007, Dr Tow practised as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at the Singapore General Hospital (SGH). Besides performing a high volume of spine surgery, Dr Tow was also a member of the trauma service, performing numerous surgeries for patients with traumatic fractures of the upper and lower limb.
