Your diet plays a crucial role in your route to recovery. At Gleneagles Hospital, we will ensure your meals supplement the healthcare you receive while also delivering a pleasant culinary experience.

Our teams, both culinary and dietetic, spare no effort in the design of our menus to provide you with 5 nourishing, well-balanced meals every day to support you in your recovery. We will even create a menu for you based on your physician’s dietary recommendations.

Good spirits can aid in recovery, and we're happy to provide entertainment options while you recuperate. Here's what you can expect during your stay with us:

  • WiFi — Enjoy unlimited internet access from the convenience of your device.
  • TV — Access free-to-air television channels and a wide selection of channels on cable.
  • Internet access — Use our in-house entertainment system to access the Internet. You can catch up with the news, play interactive games, watch videos or relax with an online library of books.
  • Newspaper — A complimentary copy of the local newspaper will be delivered to your room daily.
24-hour nursing services

24-hour nursing services

A nursing call handset will be placed by your bed, connecting you to our nursing staff around the clock. Additional call bells are located in our bathrooms.

If you require the services of a private nurse, our ward staff can assist you in contacting a private nursing agency.

Housekeeping and laundry services

Housekeeping and laundry services

To help maintain a safe and healthy environment for your recovery journey, our housekeeping team will drop by to clean your room every day.

You may wish to have your clothes washed, pressed or dry-cleaned during your stay. Just let our ward staffs know and this will be arranged for you (at a charge).

Your doctor may refer you to our team of accredited dieticians for a dietary consultation. Our team will visit you in your room to discuss and advise on the following:

  • A diet evaluation
  • Nutritional assessment
  • Diet counselling
  • Customised daily meal plan
  • A dietary handout

Your dietitian will conduct follow-up visits and provide assistance with meal orders, special food preferences, or modifications. Before you are discharged, you will receive advice on how to continue managing your diet at home.

For the convenience of our patients, bedside telephones are available in all our wards.

  • For international calls, please dial 9 followed by 019 or 001 (IDD access code) + country code + area code + number you wish to call.

Please be informed that all outgoing calls are chargeable and will be included in your final bill.

Your safety and security are our utmost priority. Our in-house security provides 24-hour coverage, both on patrol and through constant monitoring of public areas through closed-circuit surveillance equipment.
