Neurovascular surgery
Neurovascular surgery may be used to treat damaged, injured or abnormal blood vessels in the brain or spine. Left untreated, these may cause strokes, headaches and other symptoms.
Neuro-rehabilitation therapy
Neuro-rehabilitation is designed to help patients with nervous system disorders such as sciatica (pinched nerve), Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease. It includes occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech therapy.
Stereotactic radiosurgery or fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy
Stereotactic radiosurgery is a form of therapeutic radiation that aims precise beams of X-rays at abnormal tissues from multiple directions. It is especially useful for treating small or difficult to reach abnormalities.
In contrast, fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy delivers the total stereotactic radiation dose into several smaller doses.
