误解 1：乳房肿块一般是癌症的征兆。
事实： 大多数乳房肿块不会癌变。
在 40 岁及以下的女性中，80%-85% 的乳房肿块不会癌变。然而，重要的是，我们仍然要认识到乳房肿块可能会癌变，以便在必要时寻求早期治疗。我们应该注意一些警示信号，例如：
- 乳房的大小或形状发生变化
- 乳房上覆盖的皮肤出现凹陷、发红或脱屑
- 乳头内陷
- 腋窝出现肿块
- 肿块不断增大
- 乳头溢液
- 部分乳房肿胀
误解 2：有乳腺癌家族史才会患乳腺癌。
事实： 你不一定会得乳腺癌。但是，您患病的风险较高。
有家庭成员被诊断出患有乳腺癌，并不意味着您一定会得乳腺癌，而是意味着您的患病风险会增加。同样重要的是，大多数患乳腺癌的女士都没有乳腺癌家族史。如果您有这方面的顾虑，请去看医生或遗传咨询师，以评估您的风险。
误解 3：男性不会患乳腺癌。
事实： 男性患乳腺癌的几率比女性低，但确实存在。

曾有说法称，佩戴胸罩--尤其是有内衣的胸罩--会压迫乳房的淋巴系统，限制淋巴液流出乳房，导致有毒物质积液。然而，并没有证据支持这种说法。
误解 6：涂止汗剂或除臭剂会导致乳腺癌。
事实： 这类个人护理产品日常使用是安全的，它们不会导致癌症。
有些人认为，这些个人护理产品中的化学物质--铝和对羟基苯甲酸酯--通过皮肤吸收，或通过腋下剃须造成的伤口吸收，会导致癌症。然而，没有证据支持这种说法。多年来，各种研究发现乳腺癌与使用止汗剂和除臭剂之间没有联系。一般来说，止汗剂并不能阻挡所有汗液。此外，大多数致癌物质会被肾脏切除，此后通过尿液排出或由肝脏处理。
误解 7：乳房植入物会增加患癌症的风险。
事实： 乳房植入物不会导致癌症。植入乳房假体的人并不会增加患乳腺癌的风险。
虽然植入物不会导致乳腺癌，但研究发现乳房植入物与一种罕见的免疫系统癌症--无性大细胞淋巴瘤（ALCL）之间可能存在联系。需要注意的是，标准的乳房 X 线照片并不总是对植入物患者有效，有时还需要额外的 X 射线来检查乳房组织。
